Plakatkampagne „Inspiration“
Kulturregion Stuttgart

In 2015, the inter-municipal association KulturRegion Stuttgart is implementing a poster campaign on the subject of "inspiration", in which leading thinkers from the region are portrayed and presented with their beliefs on approximately 300 large-scale plazas and city lights in the Stuttgart region and also spread over CityCard.
A jury of cultural directors and designers selected the best designs, which were then on 29.5. - 7.6.2015, during the German Evangelical Church Day with approx. 100,000 participants, on large areas in the entire region.
The task here was to create a poster which, as a central element, contains the portrait of Friedrich Schiller and shows his intellectual attitude and his mindset in a surprising, creative way.The aim of the campaign was to promote the region of Stuttgart as a space with innovative potential to present inventor personalities with their specific world understanding on artistically designed posters in the public space.Inventors should not be perceived as inaccessible geniuses, but rather should inspire the disclosure of their ways of thinking and beliefs to explore and use their own creative (inventor) mind.
The background should be a yellow-white pattern. The motif should be placative, so quick to grasp, and next to the portrait should be space for the creed and the name of the inventor, both on a blue background in any form. The belief should be in Arial bold / Akkurat Std., the name of the inventor in Arial light / Akkurat Std-Light. Format: CLP Citylight Poster (B 118,5 cm x H 175 cm Format: 18/1 Large-format poster (B 356 cm × H 252 cm).
In connection with this project, the city of Gerlingen had developed a few "foray", which they wanted to apply together in the form of a postcard with the Schiller motif. As the front of the postcard, Schiller should be taken over as planned, on the back the corresponding Schiller-Events should be printed; it is a horizontal format  in  210 × 980 mm.
